In the late 70's, I had a high school teacher, in a public school, who smoked a pipe, in class. An english blend. He was the most influencial person in my life, aside from my immediate family.

In a world where there are fewer and fewer public places to smoke, I would think any and all smoker would unite. Nonetheless,if I was hosting a pipe / cigar party, I would not allow cigarettes, so I can't complain if a place that allows cigs won't allow pipes and cigars. Even if it make no sense.

@woodsroad - wow have things changed. I remember when I was in elementary school the high school had designated smoking areas (early 80s), and by the time I was in high school (mid 90s) it was illegal to have any form of tobacco on school property.
