Winton - my thoughts exactly on the contest pipe. It was actually the only pipe I left with this year (a first). But I was suprisingly pleased with it after having some time together. The tobacco however, I was drinking by the 6 minute mark (super wet) :oops:

I got a lot of samples of other blends though, so hopefully I'll run into one that I actually enjoy.

The small mottled clay is from Tammy Zottlemoyer, a Pennsylvania potter. She is a new exhibitor at the Show and she makes beautiful clay pipes. Here is the link:

Porshcigar, thanks for posting Tammy Zottlemoyers site. If they are not glazed, those marbles would be just the ticket for reconstituting tobacco.
Looks like a great show.
