Need Thoughts on Repairing Cheroot Stem

I've got this little Cheroot with a broken stem that I think is glued in. I thought the egg part was meer but it's some sort of marble.











Would it be worth paying to have it repaired?

looks like amber to me. Does the bowl feel almost glass like? That's a real looker by the way.
