Is there room for tobacco, in the thingy on which the doc and the pipe racks stand?

There is no name on it any where. When I bought it I thought it was bronze but it turned out to be cast iron. I'll post another when I get it cleaned up and painted. I haven't thought of a name yet lol.

We had two Westies, so I have soft spot for tobacciana featuring them (or Scotties), of which there are plenty.
Most of my "top pipes" are on Westie stands.

The brass stands don't have any brand stamps.

The wood base stands are sometimes stamped Duk-it, and the bases come in various shapes.

The pressed wood stands are pretty common in a variety of styles. They were made of a material called Syroco and by the Syracuse Ornamental Company. This material was used for all kinds of items besides pipe stands.

Oh my! That is a beautiful collection and expo thereof. Thanks, Al. I'll need to keep my eyes open in antique and thrift shops.
