Well I just figured I'd let you all in on the beginnings of my career in making pipe tampers. Haha yeah right :lol: I just thought I'd show off a little really. I made it out of a .308 cartridge with the neck cut off, oak with no stain and finished it with cyanoacrylate...haha alright, super glue. I think it came out pretty darn well. It'll be making it's way out as a gift to a new home.

Now that you have the basics down it's time to learn to do Uncle Arthur Magic Ring tampers.
Soon as I can get my hands on a lathe I'm positive I can figure it out. I'm almost sure that I've got the method down pat...in my head. :lol:

Great Tampers all of you did a great job. I have never tried to make one. Will have to give it a go sometime.

jcsnaps... I like the built in reamer was GENIUS!
unclearthur... NICE... I might make an attempt, but I'm gonna try using a King piece.
