A few weeks ago my wife and I spent some time on the River Walk in San Antonio for our anniversary and birthdays. Both our birthdays and our anniversary are only a few days apart. While there I visited a couple location of Club Humidor and got this wonderful Ferndown for by Birthday / Anniversary gift from my wife. The guys at Club Humidor are great and I will go back to them. I haven't visited many B&Ms but they are by far the best I have ever visited. They also gave me a great discounted price without me having to haggle for it.
Now as for the pipe. It is a Ferndown Reo 2 Star with Silver Band and cumberland stem, 1/4 bent panel. I love this shape, color and stem. I have looked a long time for a pipe with all of the attributes and it found me when I wasn't even looking. I will definitely get more. Wide open draw, no bitter break in taste.

Thanks guys. Yes pruss, my very first pipe was a birthday gift from my wife and have several that mark different events in my life. Makes those pipes even more special.

Congratulations on both your anniversary and for buying a Ferndown. I have two Ferndowns and a half bent bulldog and a half bent apple. I think for the money you cannot do better than a Ferndown. Enjoy!

Beautiful Pipe, Very classy looking. I've never owned a Ferndown but I have admired them for a while now. Just not found the perfect one yet.
Congrats on the milestones.

That is a fantastic looking Ferndown which I know will be a great smoker for you. Congrats on the anniversary and birthday as well. Grab some Obidisian Stem Oil and watch how the stem will never oxidize, real high quality vulcanite.

I'm a big fan of the brindle/cumberland stems, in fact I am starting to focus my collection specifically on those stems - this is a very nice pipe, I wish I could find a Ferndown that is a little smaller, congrats
