Canadian's are funny. Take an american, take away the rage and dental care, add a decent primary education, a french affectation and there you go. Oh wait, pipes?
Well, I don't think anyone would deny the Bing style is dead sexy. However, my favorite take on it is the Castello #33, short squat Canadian (oh the irony) and a stablemate in recent iterations to the Brucianaso
I didn't really think I cared overmuch about the shape until I went through my pipes and noticed that I have a higher percentage of this shape than any other. I thought the apple was my favorite. lol.
Anyway, I think it comes down to the oval shank which seems to encourage a very natural and comfortable stem and very often a passable sitting pipe.
Edit: some of my best friends are canadian. :nana:

No Canadians yet, but I'm on the lookout for 7 to 8" ones. I like a very long shank.
