This evening, I got out my scissors and crafted this fine pipe rack.
Let me know if you want me to make you one, or if you need the detailed instructions on how to build your own.

Yes, but there is a 9 day wait for raw materials, as my wife and I must have 9 breakfast dates first....

Lol. I've seen a few guys make a pipe stand out of those. I'm not knocking it though. I once made a 4 pipe rack out of a pipe box :)
Edit to add: ... I'm still using it, too. My collection has outgrown my racks again so I had to bring it out of retirement.

Light weight, excellent padding that won't scratch your pipe finishes, compact, inconspicuous to suit any decor, easy to store, highly portable, widely available, affordable, folksy yet sophisticated, easily replicated to expand capacity, easy assembly -- what's not to like?

Throw in the word "rare" and I'll get a few peeps to buy them at $50 a pop.

Jay, how much are you charging for the instruction, (build your own), booklet? :laughat:

Will this work for polystyrene cartons/boxes?
Well, you COULD, but you may not be able to plop a hot briar onto it without melting the rack.
My deluxe grade paper model, however, will withstand such abuses with ease!

OK, I have a concept for a new design, which by reading this you agree to a 25% royalty to me on gross sales:
Insert the paper model into the white plastic one; the best of both worlds! Heat resistant interior, designer style outer. Sales should hit $15 Million within a month or two....

I constructed one like that to hold pipes I'm cleaning.
You know what they say about great minds, thinking alike, and such ...
