Another spectacular history lesson with incredible advertising to go along. THANK YOU for these superb threads.

Many people are unaware that Erinmore Flake is a popular blending component in many mixtures. Not only is it a great Irish Aromatic smoke but a wonderful blending tobacco as well. Of course only a few small custom blenders still exist, but trying some of the blends that are 50 or 60+ years old tell the story. Wonderful history. I have to find a way to save all this information on hard copy.

can anyone distinguish a difference in packaging or product codes between the erinmore flake made at murray's and that made in denmark? i reckon there could be some of the old stuff still floating around in the further recesses of the supply line, such as here in nz,,,
