I have a couple of Peterson stummels without their stem and I'm trying to find original stems for them. Unfortunately neither stummel has a model number on it. One is either a 309 or 313. The other is either a 312 or 314. I can't tell what exact model when I compare my stummels to any pictures I've found. I just haven't handled enough of their pipes to know. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a standard size opening for the mortise for each model of pipe? I could then measure my stummels and know what to go looking for. The plan is to find a damaged pipe and buy it for the stem. Makes sense?
