mixing/blending question

Since I live on the far Eastren edge of Metro Phenix AZ and there are not any knowledgeable people in the local smoke shops, maybe some one here can help.
Is there any books/articles avalable that can help me understand the correct method(s) to mix tobacco. For example: If I wanted to mix a virgina or burley with cavendish (natural),vanilla and some Latakia. What would be a good ratio for this?
