You’re going to discover that the amount of lat in a blend doesn’t necessarily indicate how much it presents itself.

A good example is mentioned above, C&D’s Pirate Kake. It’s got a heavy percentage of latakia but it’s smooth and rich. Another in that vein is GLP Gaslight.

Other blends with far less lat have it dominating in a sharper way. Think tire fire.
