Cannot imagine the loss of my smoking buddy. Sad for your loss.

@iamn8: We also have a green cheek conure. My wife says it is going in the coffin with me, dead or not. So, he keeps making sure I get exercise and eat right. Being a pipe smoker, I should outlive her by two years. He's betting on it....

Terrible news. Our oldest Dog is over 15 years old and is starting to fail, so I know what you went through.
