A few weeks ago there was a discussion regarding insurance for pipe and cigar smokers. As I remember the discussion stated insurance companies made little (if any) distinction between pipe, cigar or cigarette smokers.
Tonight after dinner I stopped my my local tobacconists and saw a display from an insurance agent. A quick read seemed to say that the company he represented (Prudential) offered a "preferred" rate for pipe, cigar, and smokeless tobacco users even if they tested nicotine positive. I plan to call him tomorrow and see exactly what that may consist of.
My apologies to the moderators for starting a new thread. I'd searched for the previous thread relating tho this with no success. Please move if needed.
