It's been on the bench for a while, but I finally finished it up. Wanted to try something a little different, even though I did finish it in my old standby, "Sedona Red" with 3 coats of hand rubbed poly'. Calling this one "The Haunted Bookshop"; had a few bowls in my old, over reamed P307 while I was sketching it out.

That's what I would (wood) call handsome. Really nice work! Stackable too!

Reminds me of my late Father in Law who turned out some really nice oak pieces in his retirement. I think about the possibilities.

In my day dreams, it's me, dad, and Paul in an open air shop in the tropics turning out pipes and racks.

That boat sailed, but it's an interesting daydream.

Retire as soon as you can. Don't listen to those who say wait, wait until you are 73.334 years old. I pulled the plug early and have not regretted a moment of it.
