That's beautiful, foggy. It looks like it has actual depth to the art. As if the art continued beyond the back of my screen. What medium is that, kind of looks like charcoal?(Though I know little of art)

Pen and Ink is a pretty difficult medium to work with as far as drawing goes and you did an excellent piece. Please keep posting more of your work! As someone who majored in studio art I truly appreciate what you do. Like you I also choose to work in many different media from non-ferrous metals to paint/graphite to ceramics, photography and beyond.

Quite amazing foggy. Very nice pen and ink. The depth you were able to gain from the contrasts are incredible. I wish I had the time to get back to art. I painted for several years and loved it. If only I had the time to start back again. One of these days I will find the time.

My favorite thing in nature. TREES, Bruce it is beautiful , wife says so too, I believe trees have the depth, craggness shadeing to make a landscape just glow and if you are as good an artist like Foggy it's just takes your breath away. :worship:

Foggy that is beautiful, love the depth and complexity of the entire thing.
Pen & ink
How long did that take to create? I've worked in pen & ink and mine took forever.

The leaves were long, the grass was green,

The hemlock-umbels tall and fair,

And in the glade a light was seen

Of stars in shadow shimmering.

Tin'uviel was dancing there

To music of a pipe unseen,

And light of stars was in her hair,

And in her raiment glimmering.

There Beren came from mountains colds,

And lost he wandered under leaves,

And where the Elven-river rolled

He walked alone and sorrowing.

He peered between the hemlock-leaves

And saw in wonder flowers of gold

Upon her mantle and her sleeves,

And her hair like shadow following.

Enchantment healed his weary feet

That over hills were doomed to roam;

And forth he hastened, strong and fleet,

And grasped at moonbeams glistening.

Through woven woods in Elvenhome

She lightly fled on dancing feet,

And left him lonely still to roam

In the silent forest listening.

I see women dancing in the back ground. The black trees look like their doing some aboriginal ceremonial dance behind the veil.
Thank you for sharing Foggy.

I'm with Jah, I see women dancing as well. Hmm, no telling what a Rohrschach test would reveal in my psyche...
I wish that had a fraction of that kind of artistic talent Bruce.
