And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid listing just above my laptop door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a money demon that is dreaming,
And the plastic bag o’er him streaming throws his odor on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow lies madly overpriced on the whore
To be unopened — Nevererinmore!
Erinnevermore!
Yeah, that seller is nuts,
seriously nuts.
It's one of the most insane attempted auctions I've ever seen.
The seller says " I paid a high price for these tins.", if so, he got ripped off.
One of the references I came across on the boards was a guy who found some of this Cube Cut at a local tobacconist where they had found a bunch of these in a basement somewhere and were selling them at knocked down prices...
...yes, the Cube Cut is rare, but so what?
I've gotten 2 sealed tins of the Flake from the same era for under $10 and I don't think there'd be much difference between the two --- Erinmore is one of the easier vintage tins to find and you can usually get it for cheap because not many people want it!
The oldschool Murray's stuff is totally different from what we have today,
http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/canadian-lakeland-ghost
and it was a heavily flavored love/hate type of baccy...
