I am looking for information for an Interwick Meershaum Pipe. Or any other infomation about it. This pipe has been repaired. the bone tenon has been replaced with a metal stinger. I have seen one other pipe like this in a pic that @numbersix posted last year in a recent discussion.

Thanks

John: The name of the shop was 'Inderwick's' and they were based on Carnaby Street London. They were famous for their pipes and had been in business since the 1790's although for some reason I thought it was earlier. They went out of business some time in the late 1990s and a quick 'google' search will throw up the article of the shops demise. In later years they normally branded pipes as opposed to actually making them and most of their meerschaum pipes came in a case like presentation box usually with a gas lighter of some kind. I hope that answers your question from the other forum!
