39 years of constant smoking. I've been able to smoke at every job I've ever had, too.

1 year ago tomorrow. My wife got me a corn cob pipe and a slew of tobacco last year for fathers day.

I picked up my first pipe 17 years ago... I have been smoking for most of it, with a short break after a house fire claimed everything I owned in 2007.. I have been smoking cigars longer, but find that I don't smoke them that often anymore..

I never smoked cigarettes; smoked cigars as an evening treat in college and when available in

the Navy (not often). Bought my first pipe in about 1975, which I still have. Quit smoking in

solidarity with my late wife who quit chain smoking cigarettes in about 1989, if I remember, and went

back to cigars only when away on business. Havanas in Canada. Resumed my pipe in 2011.

So you could say I've been smoking for 38 years on and off, pipes since 1975, but more often

in the last two years. Sorry for the detail.

Started in the early 90's. Quit. Then picked it back up about 14 months ago with new found passion.
