A: did this one a bit better since I did it second. Learn as you go and all that.

So the cardboard thing was just a little lame, the wooden ones are now finished! Yes, the first one is -really- crooked. they're both pretty botched jobs, but for someone with no good tools, or idea what he's doing, or even nails with heads, I think I did okay.
The important thing is they stay on the wall and are less ugly than cardboard.

Much improved yoru! You should feel proud of your work and enjoy your smoking items resting more nicely.

All's well that ends better.

Not bad at all.

Some of us... myself included are not carpenters.

Any project that is successful in my book was worth the trouble.
I like them.

Thanks mates -- regardless whether I did any better than a barely serviceable job I can say this --- There's something rather satisfying about putting something together yourself. In a way I thinks that's one of the only two ways you can truly feel like you -own- something (the other being to own it for many years/receive it from a family estate.
Totally worth the effort.

Yoru, looks a lot better, to level your shelves without a level use a bottle of water, you know the small ones works fairly well as a level. lay it on its side and waiit for the water to be level and your done.
