I have this Bewlay's pipe and a long lasting interest in the brand. Just got this pipe which has a distinctive unblasted panel. No shape number or anything else. Can anybody identify a maker who blasts in this style?

I don't see any grain pattern there, so I'd say it was rusticated. I think it's factory made, but beyond that, I don't know.

As to the blasted/rustication question above, it is unclear from the photos whether the bowl is blasted. I believe Charatan blasted the bowl part and then rusticated the shank to match.

Better pictures might help. I'd like to see the entire pipe and stem in order to see the shaping, also a bit more detail on the button and slot and a couple of views of the whole bowl to better see the surface. These close ups reveal too little.
