Any ideas on who makes this?
I know the pictures are shite, but from what I can tell-
There is a diamond symbol with 2 letters (I think). One is an "E" then possibly the second is a "D" or "P"
Under that, there are 3 maker's marks(?)- left one- ?, maybe a bullseye? middle one- STAR for sure last one- dollar sign (I think)
Is this silver? Made in Ireland maybe?
I have found estate pipes that look exactly like this but all those brands had different symbols and were from well known makers.
Thanks you guys for helping a newbie!

Hey there, pics would help.
You might also check out http://www.pipephil.eu/logos/en/index-en.html the interface is excellent and it is the best repository of pipe nomenclature on the web.

The initials in the diamond should be the manufacterers code and the three hallmarks will tell you date of manufacture.
Google "Silver Hallmarks" and good luck!

I think you may have a Dr. Plumb which is now part of the Cadogan Group but originally by GBD, mainly for the Canadian market. These pipes often have a red dot on the stem as well.
