This isn't a review, just some initial thoughts. To my palate, Arango Balkan Supreme tastes like a stronger version of PS English oriental Supreme. (Maybe due to the manufacturing relationship between this blend and PS). It's labeled a "balkan" blend but I didn't taste as much of the orientals as I did the latakia. It's much more latakia-forward compared to other balkans I've tried, such as MB HH Balkan Blend or Balkan Sasieni, or even Presbyterian mixture.
Sampling this makes me even more confused as to what a balkan-blend is considered these days.

It's always been a marketing term. Some smokers have tried to designate the difference between English and Balkan with Oriental ratio, but it's always been about the marketing. If you enjoy Balkan Supreme, and find Arango's out of stock, Stokkebye's Balkan Supreme is the same blend. It's just sold through different distributors.
