First Impression: 1792

I picked up 4 oz of this a few weeks ago, apparently aged 5 or so years. I haven’t tried it yet. The flakes are almost grey in colour and are covered in white crystals. I do not smell an of the Aromatic topping. I plan to smoke a small bowl as a tester tomorrow after work. Hopefully it’s as good as the review makes it sound.

Its one of those love it or hate it tobaccos. Personally I love the stuff.

I'm not sure if it was the tonquin or the nicotine, but 1792 made me nauseous. It's not for me.

Absolutely love the 1792. i Agree it is either a love or hate it blend.

I gave some to a pipe friend with one or two other blends. He liked the others, never commented on 1792. So I assume it wasn't pleasing.
