Falcon International Balsa & Dry-Ring?

Hello community,

An idea recently crossed my mind and I wanted to ask if anyone has ever done this before and could share their experience. I was wondering what it would be like to smoke a Falcon International pipe with both the 6mm Balsa filter and dry-ring.

Would this be an advantage with overly moist tobaccos? (SG etc..)
Would using two types of filters simultaneously mute the flavour?

P.S No Falcon hating please, I know a bunch of people hate them - I respect your opinion but I love them.
P.P.S Falcon International = Falcon which takes a 6mm filter

I think a bit of pipe cleaner in the shape of a ring does a fine job keeping the smoke dry.

IMO, if it needs more than that you should dry out your tobacco more before you put it in your pipe.


There's no need for a 6mm in a falcon.
