Found a pipe at lepipe. Anyone ever purchase through them? I can't find any feedback or forum chatter about them.

Yes, a couple times and I plan on buying from them again. Good selection and decent prices.

Your welcome. BTW the first order I choose DHL Express and the pipe arrived within 3 days. The second order I choose Standard Worldwide delivery -by mistake- and it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. FYI :puffy:

I almost bought this pipe,

came very close but failed to pull the trigger...
...someone else got it!

They always have some good stuff on hand,

new arrival updates seem far and few between though...

I bought a nice Spanu from them. I got a new customer discount too.

Overall I would rate may shopping experience with the vendor as a 'smiley face'

Woah! That Becker is awesome. It's interesting to see the pipe gene flow at work in Italy. Add a green stain and I would probably mistake that for a Gamboni!

yes,

it is interesting.
Gian was pretty close with Paolo, and also made pipes for the Massimo Musicò imprint Foundation,

here he is at the Musicò shop:

The style is very different from the Pesaro style, or the Como, Cucciago, Varese styles for that matter,

and I could only attempt to describe the style as Nuovo Roma or something along those lines,

it is very distinctive.
Gamboni's pipedia page was recently updated,

good info there:

Bisgaard had a recent update featuring some of the last pipes that he made for 2015,

they all sold out in a week!

I love the work of Gamboni.

Interesting perspective.

I love the work of Gamboni.

The pipes are nice, but you gotta love his sock!
Il Duca Morta in the bag thanks to you all. Briar and I are having a bit of a failure to communicate ever since I discovered meerschaum and I'm excited to hear what bog oak has to say.
Great tip Rogers about DHL. The difference in shipping between tortoise and hare mode was less than 1 euro, but I had to dig to find the option.
Edited to add a thank you to SPC for encouraging me to explore the wild world of international vendors!
