Ehrlich question

I just cleaned up an estate Ehrich pipe. I'm smoking a it as I write. The nomenclature says EHRICH, 2nd line says IMPORTED BRIAR. On the other side is the letter P. The E is on the stem. I believe the P is the name of the carver. Does anyone have any info on this pipe?
