I find just as many images stating this is sir walter Raleigh.

Either way minor Nobleman sounds like a yuppy WASP, he doesn't actually have the royal title but would live as much as he could to that lifestyle. Here's another painting of Raleigh

Now since I enjoy non aro Burley blends which would you suggest? Or would it be better to go with a Kake or a plug/rope?
If you are going for period correctness then get some rope tobacco for your kit, but you can carry some of your favorite blend to smoke, I would use Carter Hall
