There are several 3-digit shape numbers that date all the way back to the 1920s. The 120, 482, 127, 253, etc.

Yep! Just like that one. I’m convinced this is a Shape 35, with the 6 meaning that it has a saddle stem. For example, the Cherrywood Shape 475 has a tapered stem, and a 6475 is the same pipe with a saddle stem. To reinforce that conclusion, I’ve only ever seen Shape 35 come in Group 3 size, and since yours is as well, this conclusion fits nicely.

The 1964 one. Nomenclature exactly as with my 365 .

I wish I could date it for you  My best guess is 1955-1969. That’s not ideally specific for a Dunhill, but that’s pretty good for an old pipe!

Two questions, does the pipe have the 3S mark or not? Also, look closely, is there a date code underneath the D in ENGLAND? Perhaps this pipe was re-stamped, because it looks like I can see a faint E to the left of the more clearly marked E in ENGLAND.
