Hello. I have not been able to find any information on this model/manufacturer of this pipe. The "Made in England" stamp makes me think it might have come out of the Comoy's factory. The script of the model number makes me think it is quite old. This is another of the pipes that came out of the late '40s box I purchased recently. Thank you.

The font used for the shape number would make me say Comoy's. Sasieni used a more "in line" font. The Sasieni COM stamp is different, MADE IN over ENGLAND in a "tighter" oval.

Agreed, definitely not Sasieni. Their COM was arched, Made In, England (two lines).

But I can't find any corresponding to Comoy's either. (827 or 27) Their second line shape numbers were typically identical (unlike Sasieni, which added a 3rd number to the original two)

But, cool pipe!

The closest shape I could find from Comoy's is the 533. That one has a square shank and octagonal bowl but not the military stem. Smoking pipes has pictures of one on their site.
