I recently purchased an estate Ardor, and am trying to date it, but not finding any real way to determine the approximate age. It is an Ardor Urano Roccia Lovat with Pennellessa bit, stamped “DR” for Dorelio Rovera. Any experts here know how to figure out how old it is? Many thanks in advance.

I know you said you just had the DR for Dorelio Rovera but my estates from about say 20 years back had his name in the form of a "cross" where his first name is horizontal and the family name is vertical and intersecting his first name. Maybe not much help but maybe the style of the name can help with a dating period.

Thanks fellas. I was willing to risk the occasional guffaw to try and figure out how old she is. Here are a couple pictures:

Meanwhile, I can tell you that the blue-edged silver dot on the mouthpiece has been introduced since 1991/92.

For the rest, I tried to search on the site http://www.ardorpipe.it but it does not work. :(
