I do like Blue Note although I have to be in the mood; it's becoming one of my "go to" aros although I really want to try Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream.
I cracked a tin of Devil's Holiday about six weeks ago. I was hoping to like this blend but the berry topping was overwhelming and didn't make for an enjoyable smoke. I jarred the rest of the tin and I'm hoping that aging it a bit might mellow out the flavor--I'll give it another go in a few months.
I have tins of SVH and Midnight Ride still yet to be popped. I purchased Midnight Ride based on its high ratings on some "other tobacco website" but as I'm still breaking into Englishes I plan to wait a bit before trying it. Looking forward to it.
I really want to try Hamborger Veermaster since I'm really digging VAs as of late, but alas Dan tobacco is not available in Switzerland (why a German tobacco is NOT here I'll never know--chalk it up to another weird thing about Switzerland, which, by the way, deserves its own post if people are interested).
FWIW I'm only a few hours by car away from their factory in Lauenberg and would love to make a trip up there some weekend to tour the town and their shop/factory. Here is a very interesting website about the history of Dan Pipe with photos of their factory, shop and the town--looks lovely.

Dan also has fantastic tin art--second only to maybe C&D. Friebourg and Treyer, please take note.
