Does anyone know when Missouri Meerschaum stopped using real cob shanks on their corncob pipes?
I only have one cob but I've had it for close to 25 years I think. I still smoke it occasionally but would like to get another. I would prefer to get one with a real cob shank instead of the wooden one printed to look like a cob.
Also does anyone know why they stopped using the real cob shanks? I'm thinking that maybe they were getting too expensive? Or maybe they just became unavailable? I'm sure someone on this forum knows.
