Here is my stuff from Columbus:

Perry White - I didn't know much about him but I loved the blast and the stem work. The pipe is also very very light.

Rad Davis - My first Rad Davis - It still needs cleaned up. This is a big pipe for a Rad but I liked the blast and it felt great in the hand. I had to pull the trigger.

Nice pickup! I have to get to one of these shows someday. I only get to go to vitamin trade shows. It's just not the same.

Well done pal. Lovely pipes! Jealousy abounds.
Ghost, some of the GTA boys are noodling a caravan to Chicago next year. Just sayin'.

Roth - More pics posted.
I have wanted a Rad Davis for years but couldn't find one I liked enough that I could afford. So it has been a battle of patience. Overall I really like sandblasted pipes and Cumberland stems although I have never owned a sandblasted pipe. I was able to sell a few tins that I wasn't going to smoke and sell a Pipe that I had bought and restored. I added some money I had saved and was able to afford all of that with money left over. I am quite pleased.
By the way I was the big guy with a big beard and was wearing the T-Shirt that said "With Great Beard Comes Great Responsibility" I may have talked with some of you not know you were also part of this forum.

delkhouri, we passed each other several times! I admired your shirt each time you walked by. :)
I'll be doing a loot post soon, possibly tomorrow.

I have never had Kajun Kake before. I had a different Cornell and Diehl Tin that was given to me, an aromatic called Founding Fathers that I did not want. I was offered a few bucks for the tin or a trade for another on the table. I chose the Kajun Kake because I had never tried it and it sounded interesting.

Ha! I saw you and that shirt was hilarious. By the way, are you glad you waited now on buying that one you saw online?

Congrats del -some great finds you have. I had my eyes open for Rads too and spotted that one but it was just too big for me. Great pipe in any case. The beard shirt was the best!

Those are both great looking pipes, congrats on your new acquisitions. Let us know how they smoke, I have a strong feeling you will love the Rad. I have not smoked a Perry White, but I do hear good things.

I will update with the smoking characteristics when I get to smoke them. Since they were both smoked estates (the perry white was very lightly smoked) I gave them a good cleaning. After a good cleaning I always wait a few days before I smoke them.

Perry White update:
I had a chance to clean it up and let it sit for a few days. Today when I got home from work, I filled it up about 2/3 and went outside to smoke it while playing some Frisbee with the dog. Man did this pipe smoke well. It packed easily, lit easily, and stayed lit. It's weight and balance made for a leisurely smoke that was easy to clench and I don't usually clench. It smoked cool and dry and I experienced no tongue bite. It had a nice even draw and it smoked better than pretty much any pipe I have ever smoked. I look forward to future bowls in this pipe.
Now I need to finish cleaning the Rad so I can try it out.
