Although churchwardens look nice I tend to prefer a pipe I can stick in my pocket and carry around.

I mostly smoke my Vauen with the shorter stem.

I also like my Savinelli Quandale "mini-churchwarden". It's just 8 inches long.

Yeah I was looking at them on The Danish Pipe Shop last night. I might just call PandC like Capt. said and find out as well. If I go Danish Pip Shop though, I can give in a get that tin of Dark kentucky to compare to the PH dark strong that I have. Maybe get a nice stock of orlik and other tobaccos we cant get here since I will pay the shipping across seas.

Roth had a good idea with just getting a new stem for my MM. I'm thinking I might try that route before I spend some serious coin on a briar.
