doc you should defend yourself. Don't take abuse from any pipe!
That is a terrific set, scrooge. Congratulations. Chris did an outstanding job.

Wow.
I love it when a plan comes together.
The plateau top is gorgeous but that heavy walled, bent billiard is a button buzzer.
Well done to you both.

A whole set of unsmoked Besse's! Each has its own endearing characteristics.

Not only a whole set, but a set of firsts, and unsmoked!

I bet he wants those back in a year or two. As nice as they are, I expect to see even

more 'development' from Chris.
Everytime I listen to pipe makers who've sold 'early' work, they.have sounded like they were less than proud of their beginning efforts. (I don't suggest that pride is unwarranted with these pipes)
I know that Chris started out with a particular focus on getting the internals correctly and has rapidly gained in

expertise on shaping and finishing and to top it all off, now he's making stems from scratch, lending even more

freedom to his expression.
Good stuff both of you guys!

Impressive variety of shapes and finishes, for sure. 'Like them all in a racked unsmoked row! Baby pictures.
