I’ve wanted a Savineli Tortuga bulldog for a long time. Recently I was browsing pipes and saw it again. Then I had an idea. I save all the corks from my single malts. I use them to dry flies on after tying. So I grabbed my favorite pocket friendly pipe and tried some on for size. I ended up choosing a cork from Shackleton blended scotch and cut the cork down by about half. I think it turned out nicely. The pipe is an Imperial.

I use wind caps also. I just had a moment of inspiration and the compas design on the top looks nice.

Th Shackleton scotch is good and is only $35. It’s a blend but I enjoyed it as much as some single malts that cost more. Im going to get another bottle so I can make another topper for another small pipe.

There you go! That's the excuse to buy another bottle. Thanks, I'll use it...
