I'm thinking of picking this up to hold my pipe and cigar accessories and maybe display a little something on the top. I noticed one of the drawers is labeled "NICOTIANA" so I'm wondering if this was made for tobacco in some way:

Even if it's not made for tobacco I think it's worth the asking price of $65.

scilla and nicotiana are flowering plants, with nicotiana being a common tobacco plant used in gardens to repel bugs I believe. My wife thinks it may have been a hallway potpourri stand of the Victorian era. ?? Cool stand none the less.

A quick google returned this:
“These are from the 1920's, made by the Pulaski Furniture Company. You do not see many of these around these days. The Cabinet has an estimated value on the secondary retail market for an of average of $550.00-700.00, depending on the condition and where it is for sale at. These will typically sell higher in an Antique Shop or Private sale compared to an auction. If you are thinking of selling, you might want to check your local Antique Shops in the area to see what yours or one like it would sell for or has sold for, then you can decide to sell online or locally. As antiques and collectibles are subject in selling price to different areas across the country. Larger Metropolitan Areas bring higher prices then Smaller Cities.”

Thank you for the help. I picked it up on my way home from work last night. Nice little table.
I have found two listed on ebay as "apothecary" tables/stands. One for $150 and one for $650. Mine does not appear to have the original drawer pulls on the top drawer but for $65 I'm very happy with it.
Couple of Savinelli Qandales on top:

Plenty of room for tins on that open shelf, and an elegant marble top. Antique prices are quirky and fluctuate wildly depending on what's popular, but this is handsome and could be useful. Nice find at an excellent price in my untutored opinion.

The table looks like it was made for the nook there. Nice fit. Nice score.

Nice! Funny, those top-drawer handles looked "off" to me.

I thought the plaques could be modern add-ons too, but it looks like they're supposed to be there.

The one on ebay has some sweet glass handles.

Very cool! I was gifted an old walnut smokers stand 25 years ago. It served as my first pipe stand, but I later outgrew it. Still a great piece of furniture with some character.

Nice purchase mr. The price is fantastic, and I bet you could find the drawer pulls - if not the originals, more antique looking ones, for sure.

If it still has the original finish it could be worth some money. Look inside the drawers and see if any holes have been drilled for the new fixtures.
