Anyone Been To John B. Hayes In Winchester, Va.?

My wife and I are going to Winchester, Va. for the Labor Day weekend. Has anyone been to John B. Hayes tobaconnist? We're looking to visit some of the wineries in the area but I thought I'd check out Hayes. Any info would be most welcome. Thanks.

It is a great place. They have their own blends and a small tin selection.

He has most of his estates at this store.

The nearby street closed to traffic (short walk) has some neat shops and restaurants.

If you have a winery list, send it to me and i'll get my wife/friends to approve/suggest some good places

John B. Hayes has two stores, this one is run by John's son Matt who is one of the nicest, honest and reputable guys in the tobacco business. They operate a top shelf business, you won't be sorry for patronizing them.

Al, I don't knmow anyhting about the wineries in the area so suggestions would be most welcome. We're going there the thursday before Labor Day and driving back home on Sunday. We're staying at the George Washington Hotel in downtown and looking forward to it.

Yup, I bought my last two estates there. Nice quality, and a nice setting.
