Great find in an antique shop in New Westminster, BC.
IMAG0476.jpg

Parker group 4 lovat and sealed 6 oz tin of Irish Mead that looks to be from the '70s.
Both for a steal.

Not a bad haul, I didn't know antique stores would even have pipe tobaccos I've never even thought to look.

Canada is a fertile hunting ground. With the big push to end smoking there. Nice find.

Thanks guys. Has anyone tried Irish Mead before?
Shayde, they almost all sell old tobacco tins. Sometimes they aren't open.

Clearly, some regions are more fertile for pipes than others. Locally, not so good. Up in New York State,

I found a row of antique shops and several with pipes, but nothing choice. In NY, I found a cluster of the

least inspired freehands I have ever seen. I wanted to buy one, just to come away with something, but

finally, there was nothing I wanted.
