Hoppes, that's pretty cool! I recently purchased quite a bunch of Kramer's blends from SmokingPipes.Com and now I'll dedicated that pipe to those blends. Just better and better!

The pipe landed! A great way to ensure no new bowl coating or reaming by the seller is to include a little bit of burned pipe tobacco still clinging to the interior of the bowl. :mrgreen:
According to the patent No. 1861910/32 this should have the Vernon Tenon. This one does not. Here are some of my crappy photos.

Hmmmm. A glued tenon repair. I've tried a couple, no luck , but that one will hopefully hold.

John, I don't really think it's a "repair". I think it's a reworking, if that makes sense. Supposedly it's for a Vernon, but what was the remedy if the customer didn't want the Vernon? Was Dunhill replacing it with this? The stem is definitely original, but it makes me wonder what's up.
Btw, it smokes extremely well.
