The 1976 GBD catalog states the Ebony was light to medium brown, smooth muted black accents, matte finish. It was tough not to put a high gloss shine on it but I tried to keep it original.

They are very nice pipes. I think I see some of them on the website "pipedia". I usually have a problem with that classic double-groove treatment, whatever it may be called, but it works on every pipe posted here. :puffy:
