This was a little thicker block of Morta than most, and I figured it would a good time to try a little fatter Author than I've done in the past...

I don't usually go for the author shape but I'm loving every bit of this pipe, especially since it looks a little shorter than a lot of mass produced authors. And boy is that some phenomenal grain! It's mesmerizing... 8O

WANT!!!! I really need to find a job that pays in dollars again, the drop in the euro has made it so I can't consider pipes like this anymore.

I like the color of that stem against the Morta! Cumberland?

That's from SEM in Germany- it's Ebonite- they call it Black and White....It's become one of my favorite colors when I'm doing Morta or a black stain on briar...

They do have very nice material. Pricey -but nice.
