I agree with all the positive comments. I am very glad this group exist. I lurked for a long time. So glad I joined so now I can ask dumb questions.
Geeezzz... Without the knowledge I’ve gained on this site, I would’ve definitely given up by now. No B&M or pipe club within a reasonable distance so I’m on my own so this site has been invaluable. Not to mention the good humor and overall welcoming feel.
I’ve been on several forums (lots of hobbies) and this one by far is the least confrontational with minimal bickering and sniping of other members. Also love how the trolls are called out pretty quickly! Feels like good friends here and probably the next best thing to participating in a club.
On the flipside, this site has most certainly contributed to my PAD/TAD addiction. Visa/MasterCard loves me!
