1953 Dunhill Root Briar PAT. NO. 417574/34 Group 1R

Just sharing an old purchase in my Dunhill Collection - The Dunhill is stamped "MADE IN ENGLAND3" (underlined) and has patent numbers which date it to 1953. The pipe is in good condition except for a very small crack on the left side of the bowl which appears to have been repaired. The stem is replacement.

Too bad about the crack. I have a group 4 twin of that pipe, but the grain on yours is 10x better. Great pipe.

@didmauw I have 3 flawed Dunhills and 3 flawless. Will be posting their pictures together when I finally get them from the US. A few are in restoration and others are just with a friend who is holding them for me.
