    Employment Drug Tests

    I have been looking for a new job over the last month and it has surprised me how many places now include tobacco in their drug testing policy. I am guessing this is a back door approach to prohibition. I knew hospitals were doing this, but I have found other types of jobs are starting this as well.

    Military Bit Removal

    Any advice on how to remove a military bit that is stuck? I have a Dr. Grabow Omega that I am trying to break down to clean. I think the previous owner put on the stem with a hydraulic press. I can't get it off no matter what I try. Any suggestions?

    Briar Finish

    I have an old Yello Bole that has a rough finish to the briar. Overall it is in good shape but it does need a light sanding and a refinish. Any advice on how to go about it? What finish can I put on it to keep it original looking?

    Pipe Resting Question

    If a pipe is briar but meerschaum lined, do you follow the same rest period for the briar pipes? From what I understand meerschaum pipes do not need to rest,but if it is only a liner for a briar what rest period does it need?

    I am wanting to try another OTC burley and had my eye on this brand. I have tried Carter Hall and really like that. I have also tried Prince Albert and Half and Half and didn't like either one of those. Is Granger more along the lines of Carter Hall?
