So I Stopped in My Local B&M After Work...

...and I decided to pick up a tin of Christmas Cheer & Blue Mtn, the Blue Mtn was just added to the pile (one of my faves) the CC was me trying it for the first time...marvelous. I asked (while paying) if they had any Capt Black "Dark", and they said no, I also noticed that the other B&M in town...

    Mac Baren "Honey & Chocolate"

Finally opened up the tin tonight to have a smoke. I'm not saying it was bad, but at times it had a "cigar" overtone, and at times it was like I was smoking a coco muffin. So I may have another bowl or two before I make my final ruling. Anyone a lover/hater of this blend? Comments... Mike :puffy:

I love the "poker" shape and the "natural" finish just looks nice with the lucite stem. Though I do have a question for ya, apparently...

My Trip to Racine & Laramie (San Diego, Ca)

Got some nice additions to the pile. Both "house blends" have my attention as they are advertised to be a burley & latakia blend. And couldn't resist the new stand. All in all, a fine score I believe. Mike

    McClelland "Blue Mtn"

So I decided to celebrate being back in the states, and the lovely SoCal weather and had some Blue Mtn. Smoke very cool and long, tasted so good. So rich in latakia, I thought I was in heaven. Highly recommended. Mike

    How Many Re-Lights?

Good evening, I recently fell in love with Hermit's Capt Earle's Private Stock. I have had it cubed, rubbed, tried gravity fill, and packed it "regular", smoke it right out of the can, let it dry out a little, but it seems that I'm re-lighting quite a bit throughout the smoke. Is it due to the...

    (Hermit's) Capt Earle's Private Stock

So I popped open a tin, my first crumble cake. The aroma out of the tin was great. It smoke clean, with a "spicy" overtone. Definately will buy/smoke again. My question is with the amount of the re-lights I had to do. I let it set out for about 10 minutes before packing a bowl, but it...

    To Cube or Roll...

So, as I continue news ways to smoke, I realize that I prefer to cube cut and gravity fill "flake" style tobacco rather than the fold and stuff method. I feel it burns better and smokes a little cleaner. Anyone else think so or have another to prepare "flake". Thoughts. Mike

    BPK pipes?

So after I got off work tonight, I decided to go to the local B&M here in "sunny" Bahrain to see if they had anymore 965 in stock. They did not, so I turned my attention to the pipe case, they had a nice bent rhodesian. I ended up picking it up for about $35. Got "home" loaded some Bob's...
