    Just Learned Something Terrible

So I don't even know the last time I smoked a pipe, let alone bought tobacco. However, while on twitter I learned that McClelland is no more!? Upon learning this I took inventory of my frog mortons... 1 100g sealed tin of across the pond, 1 jared tin of FM and 1 sealed tin of FM. These are all...

    Selling Pipes on eBay

Welp listed the first pipe to test the waters. Included overall length, inside bowl width, and an approx. bowl depth as well as its weight on oz (no scale with grams). Also made sure to point out any flaws that were obvious to me. So we'll see what happens.

    Selling Pipes on eBay

When measuring a pipe should I use cm or inches? I'm in the US but not sure what is used for measuring. Also as I'm pretty terrible at the measuring would pics of the pipes with a ruler be satisfactory or do people want actual measurements?

    Selling Pipes on eBay

So I've come to a point in my life where I need money more than I need pipes & tobacco (a sad day, I know). I'm not even going to attempt to sell the tobacco on eBay as I know it'll probably get taken down immediately. Pipes however, I'm not sure about. Any recommendations or things I should...

    Flint Replacements

    Flint Replacements

So I bought an older lighter (allegedly from the 60's) from an antique shop two years ago. I've been meaning to get around to getting it in working order again. After some WD-40 I got the sparker wheel to turn and it takes fuel fine. But the flint is dead, which is my problem. If it was a zippo...

Why Numbers On A Watch Face?

If you like having numbers on your watch face then I highly recommend staying away from tokyoflash.com. Most of their watches have... interesting... ways of telling time.

Your first pipe smoking role model

My aunt. When ever we visited she'd be smoking a corn cob. Really liked the smell of the tobacco she smoked. No idea what it was. Though after sampling a few blends myself I pretty sure it was the ol' captain black. I remember seeing her in the house with a pipe but don't know if she smoked it...

What SF And/Or Fantasy Book Would You Like Made Into A Movie Or Mini Series?

An HBO version of the Sword of Truth novels. Not some PBS daytime show that dumbed down literally everything about the first novel. (actually looking up the show it was a Disney ABC show... which would explain the dumbing down) Some more Asmiov movies would be nice... but not like irobot. The...

    Halloween Decorations?

This is what I did last year. What you can see is a smoke machine and a spider that jumps out at people who walk by.

    Mustache note

Sometimes I like it sometimes it bothers me.

    Warning Labels

1 lb of tobacco says some idiot did it and sued the company.

Do you Cellar or just Smoke?

Considering I don't remember the last time I smoked a bowl I'm in cellaring mode.

    The Hateful Eight

Taranteno is hit or miss for me. Hated Reservoir Dogs. Kill Bill vol 1 and 2 were a little much for me. However I did recently watch Django Unchained not expecting to like it but I loved it. I'm hoping this will be just as good. Plus it's a western. Not enough of them are made anymore...

Pirate Music for Parrotheads: Can You Dig It?

So now that I know what a 'Parrothead' is I am less disappointed in this thread. Not really a fan of Jimmy Buffet... his music at least. Do like his restaurants however.

    MM, Removal of Intruding Shank

If it's a cheap MM I'd just toss it and get a new one. But that's my two cents.

What is your single most favorite pipe?

A volcano bjarne viking classic with a red glaze. I'd take that over my $200 pipe any day. I'll see if I can get a pic once my phone is charged.

    Troegs Brewery in Hershey, PA

Was not a fan of the beer I had there. Now that I can find it around here I'll have to check out some of their other beers.

    Cat and Dog Nicknames

Two cats. One is named Peanut (which is shortened from his original name Peanut butter). His nickname is Mr. Cupcakes. Our other cat is called Greysen. We call him Grey-Grey or Sargent Sparkles.

    The Best Missouri Meerschaum?

Not seeing any love for the Washington. It's my favorite cob. Though I have been eyeing the Mark Twain. I also have a hardwood diplomat. Haven't really smoked it enough to pass judgement on it though.
