    Grant Batson Whisky Sitter

PAD strikes again. I have been on the prowl for a Grant Batson, and picked one up this week. What do you think? From a style standpoint, he is hands down my favorite carver. I can't wait to find out how well it smokes though. This is my first pipe that he has carved.

Latest PAD - Bruce Weaver Bent Apple

Picked up this pipe last week. I'm really impressed with the stem work. Super comfortable. The pipe weighs in at 1.4 oz, so it is nice and light to. :D

    Another Peter Heeschen Pipe

I picked up this Peter Heeschen bent egg last week. It is a quaint little guy weighing in at 1oz. It has thick walls and and is perfectly drilled, and the stem is thin around the button. Just a masters class of pipe making. Hope you enjoy the pics!

    Peter Heeschen Pipe

I picked up this pipe earlier this week and it finally came in today. It was an estate pipe I found on sp.com, and I have been interested in trying a bent egg. I love the elegant lines and have heard great things about Peter Heeschen pipes. Well, the review is in and it exceeded my...

    Savinelli Miele

I have had an interest in this line from Savinelli ever since it first came out. I love the light stain, and to be honest the honey dipper tamper is pretty cool too. :-) last weekend I was at a cigar shop in San Antonio and happened across this one. Like all my Savinellis, it smokes like an...

    New Cavicchi's

Hey guys. I haven't posted in a while, but I have been checking in daily. Here are the last couple of pipes I have acquired. I mostly focus on tobacco and my cellar, but sometimes the PAD wins out. Sorry if the pictures are big. I never figured out how to resize in the new photobucket. :puffy:

    Latest PAD

Picked this Mastro De Paja up today. It's a paneled billiard. It's got a deep chamber and is drilled perfectly. Actually it has a larger hole in the base of the chamber than most my briars. I have a great feeling that this pipe is going to smoke well. It also has nice Birdseye on both sides...

    New Dunhill

Last week I scored a new dunhill on eBay for 100$. I took a flyer on it at that price not knowing a lot about it. When I received it, I was concerned I got duped because the pipe didn't say dunhill on the side or bottom. Only England 14. That being said, it was super light (1oz) and had...

    Couple Of New Blends

I opened a tin of SG FVF last night. So wet I decided to load a pipe for tonight with it. I am finally smoking it and wow it is great. But even after drying overnight I have relit this bowl more than my last ten bowls. As this drys out in the tin I assure it will get better. That being said, it...

    New Meerschaum Pipe

Hey guys. I happened to be in the area of my local pipe shop this evening and of course had to drop in. Which means I bought a pipe. This is my first meer. I went cheap and bought something I could learn on. I am not really sure about proper protocol when smoking a meer, but WOW am I...

    Latest TAD attack

I have been anxious to try Squadron leader but could never find it in stock. Last week it was, so I ordered some. Unfortunately to get free shipping I had to stock up on my regulars. It was a real bummer. I figured I would share pics.

    Picked up a new pipe

I finally bit the bullet and picked up my first dunhill. It's a sandblasted dunhill Cumberland and it smokes great. Got a great deal on it to boot!

    B&M/Drug store tobacco prices

With all the talk about tobacco being harder to purchase online in the future, i decided to go and see what my local drugstores charged for tobacco. I went to Walgreens and they had no CH, PA, or CBW. Only a large bag of Blenders Choice for $36.00. Next up i went to CVS, or had CBW 12oz. tins...

    Perfect moment

I just realized i was having a perfect moment. The week is over, babies asleep, wife is out with friends. Right now I'm sitting on my porch listening to the rain, and having my first bowl of the day. Some evening stroll in my Sav Dublin. Drinking a nice cold ruby redbird. Amid all the chaos...
