    Please don't poke the bear!

You may see me around a bit more - I was diagnosed with Lumbar spinal stenosis in February, and prescribed Tramadol for the pain. Now I'm trying to get off the stuff and that's a challenge. For those who don't know, it's an addictive opiate and from all reports one of the worst to quit. I'm...

Theft from DAN pipes in Germany - please watch out!

Some thieving toad(s) have broken into Dan Pipes and stolen some distinctive goods. http://www.danpipe.de/diebstahl If you see any of these on forums or Ebay would you be so kind as to inform Dan Pipe where you saw them, in the hopes that the thieves can be caught. R.J.Clarke, Vancouver, BC

I see a few of us Canadians on here -- if you're close enough to Vancouver, it's worth a visit to R. J. Clarke Tobacconist. A bit odd in that Mr. Clarke has a pen shop in the front half of the shop, and a wonderful old-fashioned set of counters with pipes and accessories in the back. Mr. Clarke...

    My pipe Collection

Here's a link to my small collection -- all these are in fairly regular use, although I have my favourites! Has anyone ever seen a Meerschaum like my #8 and 9? (see https://plus.google.com/photos/109475451263799535359/albums/5691668207958369537)
